Your skin deserves a little TLC!
Pre- and post-care aren’t just suggestions—they’re your ticket to smooth, safe, and lasting results. By protecting your skin before and after treatment, you help us minimize irritation, prevent complications, and make sure every session counts. Think of it as teamwork: we bring the precision, you bring the care, and together we get the glow!

If a patient arrives for a session without following the above preparation instructions, the session cannot proceed.
Sun Exposure: Stay out of the sun for at least 2 weeks before treatment. Any exposed areas should be protected with UPF clothing or SPF 30+ (preferably mineral sunscreen).
Note: Even if you are treating a bikini line, having a sunburn on your face or arms can activate melanin everywhere, increasing the risk of hyperpigmentation or hypopigmentation.
Skin Care Products: Discontinue use of active ingredients that cause photosensitivity (like retinoids, AHA/BHA, benzoyl peroxide, etc.) at least 2 weeks before treatment in the treatment area.
Medications: If you are taking photosensitizing medications (e.g., certain antibiotics, Accutane, etc.), discontinue at least 4 weeks before laser treatment, with doctor’s approval.
General Prep: Keep skin well hydrated with moisturizer. Apply SPF 30+ (mineral preferred) or UPF protection daily. Maintain good hydration by drinking plenty of water.
Sun Exposure: Avoid direct sun for 2 weeks after treatment. Continue using SPF 30+ or UPF clothing daily.
Heat & Friction: Keep the area cool and calm—avoid activities that cause heat, sweating, or friction (e.g., hot tubs, saunas, tight clothing, intense workouts) for 2 weeks.
Skin Care: Use a gentle moisturizer to help with recovery. Skip exfoliants, harsh scrubs, or active ingredients until the skin has fully healed.
